Meet the Owner: Bobby Viau

Bobby Viau knows mascots inside and out; literally. He has been a mascot performer ever since he was 16 years old where he worked his first summer Job at the African Lion Safari. His passion never went away and he has been doing it nonstop to this day with a variety of different organizations. Now, he is a mascot performer in sports entertaining crowds with thousands of people. This includes the Guelph Storms and the Major League, CFL team, the Tiger Cats. Bobby has also taken marketing in college and has graduated with distinction. He has demonstrated and has been recognized for his outstanding creative abilities by faculty. He has created innovative campaign ideas in IMC and received top test scores in all Brand Management tests. He has also received top place in all simulation showing his analytical abilities and competitiveness.

The Idea behind the Character Nest combines Bobby’s knowledge of being a mascot and his marketing experience. He has noticed a trend of generic mascots and use of untrained mascot performers. He is young, creative, and ambitious to make a difference. His mission is “to do mascots the right way and make it meaningful for the company it represents”.
